ROME, May 18, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - US Vice President JD Vance held a meeting on
Sunday with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky in Rome, their first talks
since their White House clash in February, a US official said.

"Vice President Vance is now meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky of
Ukraine," at the US ambassador's residence, a Vance spokesperson said in a
statement at around 2:40 pm (1240 GMT). The politicians had briefly met on
Sunday morning at the inauguration mass for Pope XIV, and had shaken hands.
