SEOUL, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Seoul said Friday that US immigration authorities detained South Koreans during a raid at a battery plant under construction in the state of Georgia.

On Thursday local time, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided the "site of a (South Korean) company's battery plant in Georgia, detaining multiple South Korean nationals", ministry spokesperson Lee Jae-woong told reporters.
