LONDON, Nov 10, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer supports a
"strong, independent BBC", his official spokesman said Monday as the
broadcaster reeled from the resignation of two chiefs over an edited Donald
Trump speech.
"In an age of disinformation, the argument for a robust, impartial British
news service is stronger than ever," the spokesman told reporters, adding it
was important that errors are corrected "quickly" to maintain trust.
