SANGSAD BHABAN, Mar 12, 2026 (BSS) - A five-member panel of chairmen was nominated by the Speaker for the First session of the 13th parliament today.

The panel members are Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed (Dhaka-8), Gayeshwar Chandra Roy (Dhaka-3), Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan (Narsingdi-2), Md Manirul Haque Chowdhury (Cumilla-6) and ATM Azharul Islam (Rangpur-2).

Speaker Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikrom, announced their names at the beginning of the session.

They will conduct the proceedings of Parliament in chronological order in absence of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.
