DHAKA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS)-  A total of 189 judges have been transferred and given posting in different districts.

Of the transferred judges, 53 are Additional District and Session Judges, 40 are Joint District and Session Judges and 96 are Senior Assistant Judges or equivalent to Assistant Judge. 

The transfer order was issued in three separate gazette notifications by the Law and Justice Department today.

The transferred judges were asked to join at their working places immediately after handover their present responsibilities within next three days.

But those who are in training or vacation would join immediately after coming from the training and vacation.
