KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13, 2025 (BSS) - Sir Jeffrey Cheah, Founder and Chairman of Sunway Group, called on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at his hotel in Kuala Lumpur today. 

Sunway Group is a major Malaysian conglomerate, which has business in different sectors spanning property, construction, hospitality, retail, education and healthcare.

Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary, a Malaysian business tycoon and owner of the country’s national car company, Proton, and utility and infrastructure company MMC Corporation Berhad, also met Prof Yunus at his hotel.

Prof Yunus is expected to return home today wrapping up his three-day official tour to Malaysia.
