DHAKA, March 17, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has sent Eid gifts to six-year-old tea seller Fatema and her grandmother in the Bangla College area of the capital.

Leaders of 'Amra BNP Paribar' delivered the gifts at Taltola on Tuesday evening on behalf of the Prime Minister.

Member Secretary Krishibid Moksedul Momin Mithun, along with members Masud Rana Liton, Mustakim Billah, Shakil Ahmed and Farhad Ali Swajib, were present during the distribution.

The team handed over new clothes and cosmetics for Fatema, as well as a sari and other Eid gifts for her grandmother. They also conveyed Eid greetings on behalf of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who is the chief patron of the organization.

Fatema, a young mobile tea vendor, was injured a few days ago while crossing the road as she assisted her grandmother at a roadside tea stall in front of Bangla College. A police sergeant later provided her with treatment and the incident went viral on social media, drawing the attention of the Prime Minister.
