RAJSHAHI, March 17, 2026 (BSS) - A cleanliness-focused meeting was held at the City Hall conference room of Nagar Bhaban with participation from ward secretaries and sanitation supervisors representing all 30 wards of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).

RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton attended the event as the chief guest.

In his address, he emphasized his commitment to public service, saying he aims to serve as a "servant of the people" rather than merely an administrator. He sought cooperation from all stakeholders to ensure effective civic services for city residents.

He also expressed his determination to fulfill commitments made to citizens, noting that he has been entrusted with the responsibility of developing the city. With collective efforts, he said, this responsibility can be carried out successfully.

Highlighting the importance of maintaining cleanliness, the administrator urged all officials to perform their duties sincerely. He announced that, in the future, wards demonstrating the best performance in cleanliness would be recognized and rewarded.

The meeting was chaired by RCC Chief Executive Officer Md. Rezaul Karim. Chief Conservancy Officer Sheikh Md. Mamun delivered the welcome speech.
