PM joins 46th National Rally of Ansar, VDP

GAZIPUR, May 20, 2026 (BSS) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman joined the 46th National Rally of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) here this morning.

The premier arrived at the parade ground of the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy at Safipur of Kaliakair upazila in the district around 10:00 am. 

On his arrival, the prime minister was received by Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the Home Ministry Manzur Morshed Chowdhury and Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Major General Abdul Motaleb Sazzad Mahmud.

He then took seat on the stage at the parade ground when an attractive Byuthan drill was displayed. As the performance concluded, the Prime Minister approached to the participating members and shook hands with them.

Cabinet members, Members of Parliament and directors of Ansar and VDP were present at the colorful event.
