Temperature may fall further for next five days: Met office

DHAKA, Feb 1, 2025 (BSS) - Moderate to dense fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon. 

Meanwhile, “temperature may fall further for next five days” said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) weather bulletin this morning.

“Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may be disrupted temporarily due to dense fog,” it said, adding that night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.

The Met office said ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area and seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 30.4 degree Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram division while the minimum temperature recorded today is 9.9 degree Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur Division.

The sunsets today at 05:45 pm and rises at 06:39 am tomorrow in the capital.
