DHAKA, Feb 16, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasts dry weather over the country for the next 24 hours from 9 am today.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country as of 9 am tomorrow", it said.

A trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during the early morning.

Night and day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 31.6 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was 10.8 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets at 05:54 pm today and rises at 06:30 am tomorrow in the capital.
