506 more apprehended under ‘Operation Devil Hunt’

DHAKA, Feb 18, 2025 (BSS) – In the nationwide crackdown of the joint 
forces dubbed ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ to check destabilizing the country, 
506 more individuals were arrested. 

A short message from the police headquarters said a total of 1647 people 
were arrested from across the country in the last 24 hours. 
   
Of the arrestees, 506 individuals were arrested for their suspected link to 
destabilize the country under the ‘Operation Devil Hunt,’ increasing the 
number at 5825 on the 11th day of the operation. 

The joint forces arrested 1141 of the total as they are wanted in various 
criminal cases. 
   
During the operation, they also seized one single barrel gun, six bullets, 
one light gun (LG) and six castigates.
