Govt. promotes 14 police inspectors as ASPs

DHAKA, Mar 06, 2025 (BSS) - The government today promoted police’s 14 police inspectors to the rank of assistant superintendents of police (ASPs), a home ministry statement said.

According to the statement the officers who were inducted in Bangladesh Civil Service’s (BCS) police cadre as ASPs, were serving as police’s inspectors.

The gazette notification was signed by deputy secretary of the public security division of the home ministry Md Mahbubur Rahman.

Under the notification they were attached to the police headquarters and asked to submit their joining letters to the senior secretary of the public security division of the home ministry through proper authority.
