DMP files 1,481 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, March 6, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,481 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines during March 5 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, said a press release. 

The DMP release said that 218 motor vehicles were dumped and 32 vehicles were wrecked during the campaign against traffic rules violation.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on the city streets.
