DMP files 1315 cases for traffic violations

DHAKA, March 16, 2025 (BSS) - The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,315 cases across the capital for violating traffic rules yesterday.

In addition, the DMP Traffic Division collected fines from traffic violators during their regular drives, according to a press release issued by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

The release also stated that 172 vehicles were impounded, and 84 vehicles were damaged during the operation against traffic rule violators.

The DMP emphasized that these enforcement drives would continue to maintain order and discipline on the streets of Dhaka.
