New Bangladesh High Commissioner presents credentials in Australia

DHAKA, April 2, 2025 (BSS) - The newly appointed High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia F.M. Borhan Uddin has presented his Letter of Credence to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Sam Mostyn.

The official ceremony was held at the Government House in Canberra this morning, said a foreign ministry’s press release here.

Upon arrival at the Governor House, the High Commissioner was received by Jonathan Muir, Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia.

The Governor General welcomed Borhan Uddin and wished him success in his new assignment.

The High Commissioner conveyed the warm greetings of the President, the Chief Adviser and people of Bangladesh to the Governor General.

The Governor General reciprocated the same feelings.

The Governor General and the new Bangladeshi envoy held an exclusive discussion and exchanged views on issues of bilateral and multilateral interests.
