Court attaches properties of Jabed in Ctg

DHAKA, Oct 05, 2025 (BSS)- A court here today attached six flats and business establishments of former land minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed and his relatives in Chattogram.

Senior Special Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court Md Sabbir Foyez today passed the order following a petition submitted by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC). 

The court also ordered to attach the portion of the market at Akhteruzzaman Centre in Chattogram city that’s belonging to his wife and brothers and sisters.

Deputy Director of the Public Relation Department of the ACC Aktarul Islam said that the court also ordered to attach their portion of the Aramit PLC, Aramit Cement Limited, Aramit Thai Aluminum Limited, Aramit Footwear Limited, Aramit Power Limited, Aramit Steel Pipes Limited and Aramit Alum Composition Limited. 

The ACC has constituted a joint team to investigate into the allegations of money laundering against the former minister, his related persons and establishments.
