DMP files 1,558 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,558 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP Traffic Division filed those cases and realized fines on April 15 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers, according to a press release.

The DMP release said that 206 motor vehicles were dumped and 93 vehicles were wrecked during the drive.
 
It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
