Govt working for development of CHT: Supradip

BANDARBAN, April 18, 2025 (BSS) – Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma today said that his ministry has been working relentlessly for the development of the hill tracts.

"The ministry is working to develop Chittagong Hill Tracts for its economic development," he said at the closing ceremony of the Maitree Pani Barshan Utsav at Rajar Maidan in Bandarban town in the district.

The traditional five-day Sangrai festival of ethnic people in Bandarban formally concluded today through Jalkeli (water splashing).

The festival was attended by the adviser Supradip, the Ambassador of the European Union and his wife and daughter, the Italian Ambassador and the Netherlands Ambassador.
