DHAKA, April 19, 2025 (BSS) – Police arrested 1601 crime suspects from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours. 
 
Of the arrestees, 1087 were wanted  in previous cases and warrants while 514 others have been arrested for other criminal charges, said a press release of the police headquarters. 

Two locally made light machine guns, two switchgear knives and one round cartridge were seized during the drive, the press release said.
