DMP files 1,916 cases against traffic rules breakers

DHAKA, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,916 cases against vehicles, owners and its drivers for violating traffic rules.

The DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and realized fines from May 24 during regular drive against traffic rules breakers, said a press release issued here today. 

The DMP release said that 188 motor vehicles were dumped and 136 vehicles were towed during the campaign against traffic rule violations.

It further said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
