Adviser Murshid visits Sirajum Munira at BMU

DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) – Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid today visited 'July daughter' Sirajum Munira, 20, who is currently undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) in the city.  
 
Sirajum Munira, the spokesperson for the Pabna district unit of the Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement, is receiving care for complications that arose on May 24, when she was admitted to the ICU of the Cabin Block under the supervision of Dr Yadav Chakraborty after suffering from bleeding in the brain and nose. 
 
Her condition has shown signs of improvement. 
 
During the visit, Adviser Murshid inquired about Munira’s overall health condition and assured her family of providing financial assistance to ensure proper medical treatment.
