BSF pushes 70 people into Bangladesh

SYLHET, June 12, 2025 (BSS) - The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 70 individuals into Bangladesh through separate border points in Sylhet and Sunamganj.

Of them, 53 individuals were pushed into Bangladesh in the early hours of today through the Mokampunji, Minatila and Kolairag borders of Sylhet district.

Besides, 17 individuals were pushed in through Noakot border of Sunamganj. 

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) later detained them and handed over to concerned local police stations.
