DMP files 2,069 cases for violating traffic rules

DHAKA, July 22, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 2,069 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

The DMP Traffic Division filed those cases and realized fines during July 21 through regular drive against traffic rules breakers.

The DMP sources said that 300 motor vehicles were dumped and 130 vehicles were towed during the campaign against traffic rules violation, according to a press release issued today. 

It said these drives against traffic rule breakers will continue to ensure discipline on Dhaka's streets.
