DHAKA, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS)—The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) hosted a special value-sharing session titled ‘Share & Care’ at a local hotel in the city today.

The session, led by the BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul, brought together members of the Bangladesh National Men’s Team, coaching staff, team management, BCB Directors and senior officials involved in team operations.

This gathering was aimed at strengthening internal bonds, encourage direct communication, open and honest dialogue and collectively reflect on the shared values that guide both the team and the Board.

It also served as a platform to discuss findings from a recent internal survey and gather valuable feedback to help shape future direction.

Speaking after the event, the BCB President said: “Today’s session was an important step toward building a stronger, more unified environment for everyone involved in Bangladesh cricket.

“Hearing directly from our players and team management was incredibly valuable, and we are committed to acting on the insights shared,” he said.

“Clear communication and meaningful connection are key to bridging gaps, strengthening trust and ensuring that we are all aligned in our goals. This session allowed us to listen to one another, understand different perspectives and commit to working together with purpose, he added.

“We believe that when we move forward as one team, we set the foundation for sustained success both on and off the field.”

Litton Kumer Das, Bangladesh T20 Captain put emphasis on continuity and consistency : “Everyone sees the hard work we put in on the field every single day, but what many don’t always see is the process behind it. For us, it's about being honest with our effort and trusting the journey. If we stay committed and focused, I believe this dedication will translate into results in the coming days.”

Bangladesh ODI captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz stressed on the importance of facilities and expertise: “As players, we benefit the most when we have strong support throughout the year. That’s why it’s important to invest in and develop our local staff, while also making use of the knowledge and resources already available to us. When we combine those strengths, we create an environment where players can truly grow and perform at their best.”

Phil Simmons, the Head Coach put the importance of the team in context: “The National Team is the flagship of Bangladesh cricket, and with the amount of raw talent here, the potential is huge. Few teams work as hard as this one. But talent and effort must be backed by unity and direction.

“We need to align our goals, support each other and keep building together because that’s how long-term success is achieved,” he added.
