DHAKA, Aug 14, 2024 (BSS) - In the ongoing nationwide anti-criminal crackdown, police arrested 1849 more crime suspects and seized six firearms and ammunition in the last 24 hours.

According to the Police Headquarters, 1203 of them were netted in previous cases and pending warrants while, 646 others were on various criminal charges.

Two pistols, one three-quarter rifle, one revolver, one single-barrel gun, one local LG, two bullets, two magazines, nine cartridges, three crude bombs and one Chinese axe were seized during the operation.
