MADARIPUR, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - Actress Banasree died of pro-longed illness at Shibchar Upazila Health Complex here today.

Residential Doctor of Upazila Health Complex Md Ibrahim confirmed it saying she (Banasree) had been suffering from different diseases, including heart and kidney, for long.

She left behind a son, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.

She was laid to eternal rest at her family graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza this afternoon.

Banasree was an actress of 90s. Her first film ‘Soharab Rustam’ was released in 1994.
