Govt permanents job of 19 assistant commissioners

DHAKA, Nov 11, 2025 (BSS) - The government has made the job of 19 assistant commissioners (ACs) from the BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) administration cadre permanent.

The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard here today signed by senior assistant secretary Md Barman Hossain.

The notification said the job of 19 officials from the BCS administration cadre have been made permanent since the date of their joining under rule- 7 of the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules 1981.

It said out of the total officers, 18 ACs joined their BCS service on December 4, 2022, while another officer joined his job on February 14, 2021.

The permanent BCS officers are ACs of (probationary) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office, Dhaka, Aongmaching Marma, Nusrat Nowshin and Md Roushan Ahmed, ACs of Mymensingh, DC Office, Mohammad Al Imran, Md Zakaria Hossain and Md Shafiqul Islam, ACs of Joypurhat, DC office, Md Abdur Rouf, Abdullah-Al-Mahbub and Uzzal Bain, AC of Narsingdi, DC office, Rafiur Rahman, AC of Sirajganj, DC office, Md Fazley Rabbi, AC of Rangpur, DC office, Samiur Rahman, AC of Pirojpur, DC office, Tanvirul Kader, AC of Molvibazar, DC office, Sharmin Sultana, AC of Bagura, DC office, Md Abdullah Al Mamun, AC of Rajshahi, DC office, Md Mahfuzur Rahman, AC of Bagerhat, DC office, Arthita Hawlader, AC of Chattogram, DC office, Soheli Noshin Prottasha and AC of Panchagarh, DC office, Aminul Haque Tarek.

The notification said that the order issued for public interest will come into effect immediately.
