DHAKA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) - Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of 
Palestine in Dhaka Ziad MH Hamad today paid a courtesy call on Dhaka 
University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan at the latter's 
office of the university.

Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Provost of Shamsunnahar 
Hall Prof. Dr. Nasrin Sultana and Director of International Affairs Office 
Prof. Dr. Syeda Rozana Rashid were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they exchanged views regarding various issues including 
admission of Palestinian students at Dhaka University as well as granting 
scholarship to them. 

The Palestinian diplomat sought cooperation from DU authorities in providing 
scholarship as well as waiver of tuition fees to Palestine students.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan assured the diplomat of 
providing all possible support in this regard.
