RU Geoscience Faculty confers Dean's Award

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Dec 3, 2025 (BSS) - The Geoscience Faculty of Rajshahi University (RU) today conferred the Dean's Award on outstanding teachers and students in recognition of their academic and research achievements.

RU Vice Chancellor Saleh Hasan Naqib handed over the awards as the chief guest at a ceremony held at the university's Senate Bhaban at 10 am.

Pro-Vice Chancellors Prof Mohammad Mainuddin and Prof Mohammad Farid Uddin Khan attended the event as special guests, while Prof AHM Selim Reza, convener of the organizing committee and director of the Bio and Geoscience Faculty, presided over the programme.

A total of two teachers and four students from various departments under the faculty received the Dean's Award, while two additional students were honored with article awards for their research contributions.
