DU's admission test results of arts, law and social science units published

DHAKA, Jan 20, 2026 (BSS) - The admission test results of arts, law and 
social science units of the under graduate programme of 2025-2026 academic 
year of the Dhaka University have been published today.

Around 1,07,712 applicants applied against 2,934 seats this year. Some 
1,03,611 students took part in the admission test while 7,553 students were 
qualified, according to a DU release here today.

4,109 students in humanities group, 2,981 in science group and 463 students 
have qualified in business studies group. The exams of five students were 
cancelled. 

The pass rate of this year is 7.29 percent. The admission test was held on 
December 13,2025.

M Shahriar Shimul from humanities group, Rifat Al- Rafi from science group 
and M Abir Ahmed Rohan from Business studies group scored first in the 
admission test. The detailed result of the admission test will be available 
from the university's admission related website.

Besides this, results can also be obtained via Grameenphone, Banglalink, or 
Teletalk by typing "DU ALS <roll>" and sending it to 16321. Users will 
receive the result in a return SMS.

The qualified students will fill up the detailed form and choice form of the 
subject from 3pm on January 27 till 3pm on February 5.

The applicants who have applied in different quotas can collect form from the 
dean office of the social science faculty from February 1 to 5 and submit it 
to dean office within the period after fill up it accurately.

For re-evaluating the result, applications can be submitted to the dean 
office of the social science faculty from January 21 to 27 after paying 
required fees.
