BNP candidate Hummam Quader wins Ctg-7

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS)- BNP candidate Hummam Quader Chowdhury has been declared winner from Chattogram-7 constituency in unofficial results of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Election.

He bagged 1,01,445 votes, while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate ATM Rezaul Karim got 41,719 votes.

In the referendum, 97,185 voters cast votes for 'Yes' while 67,378 others cast 'No' votes. 
Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the result at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
