Four districts get new DCs

DHAKA, April 1, 2026 (BSS)  - The Ministry of Public Administration today appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in four districts.

The information was disclosed through a gazette notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Barman Hossain of the Field Administration-2 wing of the ministry.

The districts are Rajbari, Thakurgaon, Pabna and Rangpur, according to a gazette notification issued by the ministry here today. 

Afroza Parveen, Director at the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority, has been appointed as DC and District Magistrate of Rajbari.

Mohammad Rafiqul Haque, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, has been appointed as DC and District Magistrate of Thakurgaon.
Aminul Islam, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, has been appointed as DC and District Magistrate of Pabna.

Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Secretary (Deputy Secretary) at the BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission) has been appointed as the DC and District Magistrate of Rangpur.
