DHAKA, April 1, 2026 (BSS) - Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran 
Haider today met Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, 
MP, at the Parliament in the capital.

During the meeting, the Pakistan High Commissioner expressed deep condolences 
and sympathy over the death of the Speaker's wife Dilara Hafiz.

The Speaker and the High Commissioner exchanged views on the ongoing global 
crisis and various important issues concerning their respective countries, 
said a press release.

Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Barrister Kayser Kamal, MP, Deputy High 
Commissioner of Pakistan Muhammad Wasif, and Secretary of the Parliament 
Secretariat were present at the meeting.
