Govt asks to appoint doctors, health workers at primary scholarship exam centres

Dhaka, April 9, 2026 (BSS) – The Ministry of Health has asked the authorities concerned to appoint doctors and health workers at examination centres on the days of the primary scholarship examination, to be held in two phases across the country beginning April 15.

The ministry recently issued a notification in this regard.

The Primary Scholarship Examination 2025 will be held on April 15, 16, 17 and 18 in 61 districts, excluding the three hill districts. In Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachhari, the examination will take place on April 17, 18, 19 and 20, from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the examination, a meeting of the National Steering Committee was held on March 10, 2026.

The committee recommended appointing doctors and health workers at the centres on the days of the examination.
