Fire brought under control at Green Life Hospital in Dhaka

DHAKA, Apr 8, 2026 (BSS) - A fire that broke out at Green Life Hospital on Green Road in the capital has been brought under control.

The incident occurred around 11:40am today, according to Fire Service media officer Talha bin Jasim.

Two firefighting units rushed to the scene after receiving the news and managed to bring the blaze under control.

No immediate information was available regarding the cause of the fire or any casualties.

However, light smoke was observed on the sixth and seventh floors of the hospital’s 15-storey building, he added. 

Two units from Mohammadpur Fire Station also monitored the situation.
