German firm Aerodata keen to provide airport calibration services in Bangladesh

DHAKA, April 19, 2026 (BSS) – German company Aerodata has expressed interest in providing airport calibration services in Bangladesh.

The interest was conveyed by German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Rudiger Lotz during a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam at her Secretariat office in the capital this morning.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Rashiduzzaman Millat was also present at the meeting, said a ministry press release.

During the meeting, the ambassador reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to maintaining the highest level of cooperation with the current Bangladesh government.

Both the sides stressed the need to further strengthen bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Germany, particularly by expanding cooperation in the aviation sector.

In response, the minister and state minister expressed their willingness to work closely with the German government to advance the development and modernisation of Bangladesh’s aviation sector, the release added.
