Azam Khan visits Liberation War museum

DHAKA, April 20, 2026 (BSS) - Liberation War Affairs Minister Ahmed Azam Khan today visited the Liberation War Museum in the city's Agargaon area. 

He was accompanied by State Minister Ishraque Hossain and Secretary Md. Ashraful Islam.

During the visit, the Minister and the accompanying delegation were guided through various galleries of the museum by museum trustees Mofidul Haque, Dr. Sarwar Ali and Tepa Majumdar. 

The Minister was briefed about the various memorabilia, documents, and historical presentations preserved at the museum related to the 1971 Liberation War.

After concluding the museum visit, the Minister said, "The current presentations and collections at the Liberation War Museum can play a significant role in highlighting the nation's glorious history."

Then he noted that there is scope to make the museum more enriched and objective by extensively incorporating various events and information from the Liberation War. 

The minister called upon those concerned to take necessary initiatives in this regard.
