DHAKA, April 28, 2026 (BSS) - The National University (NU) has issued special instructions to prevent irregularities in the 2024 Honours 4th year examinations.

In a directive issued today, the university asked centre chiefs and officials to ensure strict verification of question papers, answer scripts and related documents.

It said question papers must be collected from the treasury after proper code verification. Any unauthorized opening of question packets will make concerned authorities liable for action.

Invigilators must verify admit cards and registration documents before signing attendance sheets, while roll and course codes must be checked carefully.

Students must remain seated until all answer scripts are collected. Mobile phones and electronic devices in exam halls will be treated as a punishable offence.

The directive also warned against fake candidates and instructed reporting of any malpractice, while allowing 30 minutes extra time for students with special needs.
