AirAsia Group CEO calls on PM

KUALA LUMPUR, June 22, 2026 (BSS) - Bo Lingam, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AirAsia, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. 

The meeting took place at 3:10 pm local time today at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, according to PMO press wing. 

During the meeting, they discussed potential investment opportunities in Bangladesh's aviation sector. 

Earlier, the prime minister arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday on a two-day official visit. Wrapping up his visit, he left here for Dalian city of China in the afternoon and reached there at 11:05pm local time in Dalian.
