DHAKA, July 14, 2026 (BSS) - Seven more children died from confirmed measles and measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while 990 children were newly infected during the same period.

The information was disclosed today in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

According to the release, six children died with measles-like symptoms over the past 24 hours, while one child died after being confirmed to have measles.

Since March 15, a total of 671 children have died with measles-like symptoms across the country, while 95 children have died from confirmed measles.

Altogether, 766 children have died from confirmed measles and measles-like symptoms during the period.
