Inter-education board dismisses social media exam schedule as “false, motivated”

 DHAKA, July 21, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee has said the information circulated on social media regarding the exam schedule of Chattogram Education Board is completely “false, baseless and motivated”, according to a notification published by the committee on Tuesday.

The notice said recently a notification was circulated on social media in the name of the Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee, stating that the examinations would be held as usual from July 27 as per the schedule of the Chattogram Education Board.
 
“This information is completely untrue. The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Chattogram or the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee has no connection with any such notification,” it said.

The education board authorities have requested all examinees, guardians, teachers, heads of educational institutions and commoners not to believe or share any information circulated on social media without verifying it.

The notice further states that all decisions, notifications and instructions related to the examination are published only on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee and the concerned education boards.

The Inter-Education Board has called upon all to refrain from spreading such rumours and misleading information.
