Recruitment of nursing officers of hajj-2027 begins; applications close tomorrow

DHAKA, Sept 9, 2026 (BSS) - The Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) has taken an initiative to recruit nursing officers to accompany the medical team to Saudi Arabia to provide healthcare services to Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims during the holy Hajj in 2027.

Applications have been invited from eligible and interested nursing officers for the purpose.

The information was disclosed in a notice signed by Deputy Director of the Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery Badrul Alam.

According to the notice, interested nursing officers must submit their applications by email by 2pm tomorrow, September 10, 2026. Applications must be sent to [email protected].

Applicants must submit their applications along with the necessary documents in accordance with government rules.

The notice also said that nursing officers who have previously travelled to Saudi Arabia as members of the Hajj medical team do not need to apply again.
