BOGURA, Jan 8, 2025 (BSS) - Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested former councillor of Bogura municipality and Jubo League district unit vice-president Alhaj Sheikh in connection with different cases, including killing and extortion.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of DB police conducted a raid at his residence located near Sutrapur Zila Parishad Market in Bogura district town around 3 am and arrested him.

Alhaj Sheikh was produced before the court this morning.
