DHAKA, Jan 8, 2025 (BSS) – Police today arrested former lawmaker from Dhaka-10 constituency and ex-president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin from the city’s Uttara area.

“We arrested Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin from his residence at Sector-4 on road 13 of Uttara at 6pm today in a murder case filed in connection with anti-discrimination student movement,” Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Uttara West Police Station Hafizur Rahman Hafiz told BSS today.

He is now under the custody of Uttara West Police Station.
