Then, they took the PIN codes of bKash and Nagad wallets of him and bagged another Taka 40,000.

The kidnappers then called Russell's mother, father, wife and friend Elahi from Russell's phone and demanded a ransom of Taka 10 lakh by threatening them.

Victim Russell's friend Elahi informed the Mirpur Model Police about the kidnapping, and the police quickly rescued the victim and arrested the kidnappers.

Police identified the location of the victim and the kidnappers with the help of intelligence information and technology.

A knife, Taka 14,000 in cash and five mobile phones were seized from the possession of the kidnappers.
