Tarique Rahman stands by July uprising martyr Abdullah's cancer-affected brother

DHAKA, Jan 11, 2025 (BSS) - BNP's acting Chairman and Amra BNP Paribar chief
patron Tarique Rahman took the medical treatment responsibility of 14-year-
old cancer affected child Mahmudullah bin Jisan, younger brother of Shaheed
Abdullah bin Zahid, who was killed in during the students-led mass movement.

A delegation of 'Amra BNP Paribar' today provided medical assistance for
Jisan who is undergoing treatment at Kurmitola Hospital in the capital.

Earlier, the organization paid full expanses of his four more chemotherapy
treatments.

Jisan's physical condition is now improving, the doctors said adding his
radio therapy will start tomorrow as it will last for 33 days. Each radio
therapy costs Taka 6000.

The mother of Shaheed Abdullah bin Zahid expressed her gratitude and
appreciation to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and 'Amra BNP Paribar'.

Abdullah bin Zahid was killed on August 5. Fourteen days after the death of
her eldest son, this mother came to know that her 14-year-old son Mahmudullah
bin Jisan was suffering from colon cancer (stage three).
