Tarique Rahman provides financial assistance to July-August uprising martyr Mahbub's family

DHAKA, Jan 12, 2025 (BSS)- The family of Mohammad Mahbub Alam, an honors student of Sherpur Government College who embraced martyrdom in the anti-discrimination student-people movement in 2024, received financial assistance from BNP's acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam met Mahbub's family members in Taragar Kandapara area at Sherpur Sadar Upazila today and gave the financial assistance on behalf of BNP's acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Mahbub's mother Mosammat Mahfuza Khatun burst into tears while recalling the incident of her son's death.

Mohammad Mahbub Alam, son of Mohammad Miraj Ali of Sherpur, was crushed under the wheels of a magistrate's car on the road while participating in the anti-discrimination movement on August 4.
