DHAKA, Jan 12, 2025 (BSS) –The trial for the BDR carnage case will take place in a temporary court at Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj instead of the previously planned location at Alia Madrasha field in the Dhaka’s Bakshi Bazar area.

The Law and Justice Division today issued a notification in this regard and published it in the Bangladesh Gazette.

“The trial of BDR carnage case will be held in the temporary court at Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj, rather than the temporary court set up in the field next to the government Alia Madrasah and Dhaka Central Jail in the Bakshi Bazar area of Dhaka,” said the notification signed by Law and Justice Division Secretary Sheikh Abu Taher.
