DHAKA, Jan 14, 2025 (BSS) – A court here today directed the authorities concerned to freeze five bank accounts of former lawmaker of Bogura-2 Mohammad Shariful Islam Jinnah and his wife.

It also ordered for attachment of one of their vehicles and five immovable properties.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md. Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order in response to a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir confirmed the matter to BSS.
